Standing on her tiptoes, the tiny toddler stretched toward the gallon of milk barely within her reach on the cold refrigerator shelf. With a thunk she pulled the jug to her feet.

From the other room the little sweetie’s daddy began to notice a curious sound coming from the kitchen. Getting up to investigate, he rounded the corner to see his ambitious tot d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g the gallon of milk across the floor. She certainly was determined!

With a chuckle, this daddy took care of the situation. Bending down, not only did he pick up the gallon of milk, but he also swooped his tiny daughter into his arms. With sudden realization, and with very big eyes, she proclaimed: “Daddy, you are strong! I am not!”

He – our Heavenly Father – is strong. We are not.
